Product Description

Celebrate devotion and tradition with the Yamunashtak, presented in the timeless Pandulipi (manuscript) style. This scripture contains the Yamunashtak and also the Yamunaji Stuti in Gujarati, bringing the sacred verses of Shri Vallabhacharya into your daily prayers. Handcrafted with care from recycled sacred flower offerings, it unites sustainability with spirituality.
Compact and elegant, it is a meaningful everyday prayer companion and also a thoughtful gift of devotion. The scripture comes in a beautifully designed Pushpam box, making it easy to preserve, carry, and share as a keepsake of faith.

Shri Yamunaji is the very river of grace in Pushtimarg — the one whose waters are said to wash away all karma. The Yamunashtak, composed by Shri Vallabhacharya himself, is His devotee's most intimate prayer to Her. Now hold those words in your hands, in a form as sacred as the verses themselves.

Sanskrit — Yamunashtak Gujarati — Yamunaji Stuti Pandulipi Manuscript Style Shirnath Ji Collection
The Yamunashtak is among the most revered compositions in the Pushtimarg tradition — eight sacred verses composed by Shri Vallabhacharya in devotion to Yamunaji, whose grace is considered the very foundation of the Pushti path. This scripture also contains the Yamunaji Stuti in Gujarati, making it a complete daily prayer companion for Vaishnav households.

Presented in the timeless Pandulipi manuscript style and handcrafted from recycled sacred flower offerings, it arrives in a beautifully designed Pushpam gift box — compact, elegant, and ready to be placed on your pooja shelf, carried to satsang, or gifted to a beloved devotee.

The Scripture It Contains

The Yamunashtak was composed by Pushtimarg founder Shri Vallabhacharya as an eight-stanza hymn of praise. Each verse addresses Yamunaji directly — invoking Her as the source of divine grace, liberation, and devotion. The Yamunaji Stuti in Gujarati follows, completing the daily prayer ritual for all Vaishnav devotees.

Both texts are recited every day in Pushtimarg homes and temples — particularly during the morning shringar darshan of Shrinathji. Holding this scripture is holding a living tradition.

Pandulipi — Writing as Devotion

Pandulipi is the ancient manuscript style in which sacred Vaishnav texts were originally recorded by temple scribes — long before printing existed. The form itself carries the memory of those scribes who devoted their lives to preserving these words. The Pushpam scripture honours that tradition: the weight of the pages, the feel in the hand, the visual grammar of the script — all evoke the experience of holding something genuinely old and genuinely sacred.

Made from What Was Already Offered

The material of this scripture comes from flowers and sacred offerings collected from Shrinathji temples and Havelis. Marigolds, roses, and jasmine — after being offered to the Lord — are gathered, processed, and given form by Pushpam artisans under the guidance of Saloni Shah. The paper, the body of the scripture, the very surface on which these divine words rest — all of it was once devotion in another form.

Before You Ask, We've Answered!

Which texts are included in this scripture?
The scripture contains two complete texts: the Yamunashtak — eight Sanskrit verses composed by Shri Vallabhacharya — and the Yamunaji Stuti in Gujarati. Together they form the complete daily prayer to Yamunaji as practiced in the Pushtimarg tradition.
Is this script in Sanskrit or Gujarati?
Both. The Yamunashtak is in Sanskrit and the Yamunaji Stuti is in Gujarati. The Pandulipi style preserves both in their traditional script forms, as they have been recorded for generations.
Is this appropriate for someone new to Pushtimarg?
Yes. The Yamunashtak is typically among the first prayers a new Pushtimarg devotee learns. This scripture makes a thoughtful initiation gift or a companion for someone just beginning their path.
Can this be gifted for Yamuna Chhath or Annakut?
These are among the most natural occasions for this gift. It is also deeply meaningful for Janmashtami, Diwali, and any Vaishnav festival or household occasion where devotion is being celebrated.
How durable is the scripture for daily use?
The flower-composite pages are designed to withstand regular, daily handling. Keep them away from moisture and direct heat and they will hold up well over years of use. Store in the included gift box when not in use to extend their life further.
