    Chess
  • Chess is played by two players on an 8 × 8 board with 16 pieces each, including a King, Queen, Rooks, Bishops, Knights, and Pawns.
  • White always makes the first move.
  • Each piece moves according to its own set of rules.
  • Players capture their opponent's pieces while protecting their own.
  • The objective is to place the opponent's King in checkmate, where it cannot escape capture, ending the game.

    Checkers
  • Checkers is played by two players using 12 pieces each, placed on the dark squares of the board.
  • Players move one piece diagonally forward by one square.
  • An opponent's piece is captured by jumping over it onto an empty square.
  • When a piece reaches the opposite end of the board, it is promoted to a King, allowing it to move both forwards and backwards.
  • The winner is the player who captures all of the opponent's pieces or leaves them with no legal moves.
