Product Description

Makhan Chor brings alive one of the most beloved childhood leelas of Shri Krishna and his playful love for butter. The Śrīmad Bhāgavatam describes how Krishna would enter the homes of the Gopis, steal their butter and curd, and even distribute the butter to monkeys. On one occasion, after Yashoda had briefly left Him to tend to an overflowing pot of milk, Krishna broke a yogurt pot, climbed onto an overturned mortar and began sharing the freshly churned butter with the monkeys.

These playful acts earned Krishna the affectionate name Makhan Chor, or the butter thief. Yet the stories are remembered not simply for His mischief, but for the irresistible charm and affection He inspired among the people of Vraja. His childhood leelas turn ordinary moments of home and village life into memories filled with joy, laughter and divine sweetness.

This Aastha Magnet captures that playful side of Krishna is the mischievous Kanhaiya who could steal butter, break pots and still leave everyone smiling. It is a celebration of joy, innocence, playfulness and the sweetness of Krishna bhakti.
