EXL AWARDS

How an award evolved into a symbol of purpose.

Recognition celebrates achievement, but the way it is created can celebrate values too.

For two consecutive years, EXL partnered with Pushpam to reimagine what a trophy could represent. Rather than being crafted from conventional materials, each edition transformed waste into a lasting symbol of excellence, ensuring that the award itself reflected the organization’s commitment to innovation, responsibility, and impact.

The journey evolved year after year.

2025 marked the beginning. Each trophy was handcrafted from reclaimed event flower waste, demonstrating that materials often seen as waste can be transformed into objects of beauty, value, and meaning. A total of 70 handcrafted trophies were created for the year’s celebration.

2026 took this vision a step further. Event flower waste was combined with discarded melamine crockery waste to create a premium handcrafted trophy that embodied growth, resilience, and transformation. Every piece was individually handcrafted by upskilled rural women, extending the impact beyond sustainability to livelihood generation and social empowerment. The flowing marbled patterns ensured that no two trophies were ever the same, making every award as unique as the journey it celebrated. A total of 75 handcrafted trophies were produced for the 2026 edition.

Across two years, the trophies became more than recognition.

They became a reminder that true excellence is not only measured by success, but also by the positive impact we choose to create.
